St. Louis: 250 Years, 250+ Cakes. Here we go....

In celebration of the city of St. Louis's 250th birthday this year (2014), there was a special cake. Times that by 250, that is! Called 'Cakeway to the West', 250+ cakes have been placed all over the St. Louis area, including the Metro East. Places that have cakes include historical landmarks, parks, museums, popular restaurants, as well as government places. These are just a few examples as the places represented St. Louis in a memorable way.

#127: SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center

Not to be confused with St. Louis Children's Hospital.
About SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center:

Named after the Archbishop of St. Louis, John Cardinal Glennon (served from 1903 to 1946)
Opened in May 1956 and is a member of SSM Health Care.
In 2002, became the first hospital in the country to win the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award.
It is also home to the St. Louis Poison Center, the St. Louis Cord Blood Bank and numerous pediatric programs.
Cardinal Glennon has been partnered with FabickCAT (the cake's sponsor) for many years. FabickCAT was founded by John Fabick in 1917 and has been a tractor company since that time.
